Yes. The holder is designed to keep the plate firmly seated during everyday driving, highway speeds, vibration, and automated car washes. When installed correctly on a solid mounting surface, it stays stable and doesn’t “float” like cheap frames.
It’s designed to sit cleanly and avoid unnecessary movement. Like any plate mount, if dirt/grit builds up behind the plate and you never clean it, rubbing can happen over time. We recommend removing the plate occasionally to clean the area—one of the main advantages of this system.
No. When installed correctly, it should not rattle. Rattling usually comes from loose screws, uneven mounting surfaces, or a bent plate. Tighten the screws firmly and make sure the plate sits flat.
Yes. It’s made for easy removal and re-installation (for cleaning, detailing, or swapping plates). Normal use won’t weaken it—just avoid forcing it at an angle and make sure it clicks/seats properly each time.
It’s secure for normal use, but no plate holder is 100% theft-proof. If someone has time and tools, they can remove most mounts. The best protection is parking in safe areas and using anti-theft screws if you want extra security.
